Volunteer opportunities:

 Volcan Masaya

Throughout the year, groups, worldwide, come to Nicaragua to provide services and assistance. Many different kinds of opportunities are available for you to spend time in the community if you wish to volunteer. The Pangea Partnership is a non-profit organization that offers hands-on workshops in eco-building techniques during which you will work side-by-side with locals to build a home, school, medical facilities or other locally needed structures. These and other opportunities such as panga (the local fishing boat) building are just some of the types of service areas that can be arranged. Upon your arrival, we will discuss with you this option and make the contacts. Again, this is the real-life experience of your Spanish immersion program that really helps to cement your daily lessons and your participation will be greatly appreciated.
